RFW Update: Tagged on Richmond.com!

August 2nd, 2007

Imagine heading out to the Canal Walk or another Riverfront location, popping open your laptop and getting your daily Web business done wirelessly.

No Wi-Fi hot spot? Not a problem. In fact, imagine that the entire city of Richmond is the hot spot. Indoors and out. The cost? Absolutely free.

Mike Kulick of Richmond.com wrote a comprehensive article about RFW including our mission and goals as well as input from various regional community-involved citizens. We’re overwhelmed with the positive response we’ve received directly related to this article.

Mike successfully verbalized and articulated the essence of our project in a manner that captures the reader and makes them want to contact us for more info. (At least, that’s how we felt about it. Biased? Maybe! :) ).

Thanks, Mike, for the excellent plug.  We really appreciate it!

The ban is included in new rules intended to assert Beijing’s authority over Tibet’s restive and deeply Buddhist people.…The 14-part regulation issued by the State Administration for Religious Affairs is aimed at limiting the influence of Tibet’s exiled god-king, the Dalai Lama, and at preventing the re-incarnation of the 72-year-old monk without approval from Beijing.…For the first time China has given the Government the power to ensure that no new living Buddha can be identified, sounding a possible death knell to a mystical system that dates back at least as far as the 12th century.http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/world/article2194682.ece « RFW Update: Tagged on Richmond.com!
